What this tool does
Builds a repeatable line baseline without confusing facility-wide water with the selected rinse boundary.
When to use it
Use after isolating or defensibly allocating a meter interval and matching it to production loads and operating time.
Inputs and supported units
Each labelled field explains the quantity it expects. Unit-system changes convert existing numeric entries once and keep calculations on a single SI internal basis. Supported shared units include L/min and GPM, metres and feet, kPa and psi, millimetres and inches, kW and hp, and °C and °F as relevant.
Calculation or decision method
Annual water = interval flow × hours/day × days/year
How to interpret the result
Read the primary result with the supporting breakdown and warning. A plausible number is not evidence that every input, operating case or design constraint has been included.
Worked example
A 10,000 L increase over eight hours and 200 loads equals 50 L/load and 1,250 L/h.
Assumptions
Representative production, matched meter and load boundaries, user-entered process targets and tariffs, and stable conditions during each comparison.
Limitations
No bath chemistry, final rinse acceptance, discharge limit, treatment package, permit condition or worker exposure control is selected or approved.
